Hi,· Which version of Internet explorer is installed on the system?· Were you able to do a disk defragmentation on the system before?· What is the exact error message that you encounter?· Do you remember making any changes to the system?· Do you have any third party defragmenter installed on the system? I would suggest you to install the Internet Explorer 6 or later and check whether the issue still persists. I would suggest you to run a SFC (System File Checker) scan on the system and check whether the issue still persists. a. Click Start, click All Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and select Run as Administrator.b. Click Continue or supply Administrator credentials if prompted. c. In the Command Prompt window type the following, and press Enter:sfc /scannowd. You should see the following on-screen message:§ Beginning the system scan. This process will take some time.§ Beginning verification phase of system scan.e. Verification % complete. f. Once the scan has completed, test to see whether the issue that you are experiencing is resolved or not.
