What is your system make and model? What is your XP version and service pack?Do you have a genuine bootable XP installation CD? Describe your current antivirus and anti malware situation: McAfee, Norton, Spybot, AVG, Avira!, MSE, Defender, ZoneAlarm, PC Tools, Comodo, etc.Describe what happens when it doesn't boot properly and then what you do to make it boot properly. Please vote my posts as helpful so I can get lots of points. Here are a couple of good links I C&P from another post:"I'm sorry to hear that. Unfortunately, you've told us nothing about your computer so we can't help you. The symptoms could be caused by software (malware infection, bad drivers, file system corruption) or hardware and there is no way for us to know which it is with no information about your computer. Please post back with the missing details to get the focused troubleshooting you would like. Thank you.Help us help you:http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Tech_Support - See "How to Write a Post" sectionhttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/555375 - How to Ask a Question"ElephantBoy tells exactly how to post your question.
