The Windows 7 Beta will cease working on August 1st 2009. You will need to re-install with either the Release Candidate or a another OS such as Vista. Please Propose as Answer if appropriate

You will be able to try the upgrade to the RC orRTM from the beta. The results, of course, are as unknown as any result in a beta. Installing clean is always best, but it's likely that Vista or the beta will be good platforms to upgrade to the final version. Current recommendation for the RC version is a 'clean install' rather than an upgrade from build 700 to the RC build. You can always try Windows Easy Transfer. Just initialise the Windows easy Transfer wizard on Windows 7 build 7000 and save the Mig file to either a removable hard drive or a USB flash drive (assuming you have one large enough).
