Hi,Many add-ons come from the Internet, and they usually require that you give your permission before they are installed on your computer. Some, however, might be installed without your knowledge. This can happen if the add-on was part of another program that you installed. Some add-ons are installed with Microsoft Windows. Some add-ons are pre-approved and are installed on your computer originally. All pre-approved add-ons are checked and digitally signed. Pre-approved add-ons can come from Microsoft, your computer manufacturer, your Internet service provider (if you are using a private branded version of Internet Explorer), or your network administrator. To see the pre-approved add-ons that are installed on your computer, do this: To view all pre-approved add-onsClick to open Internet Explorer. Click the Tools button, and then click Manage Add-ons.Under Show, click Run without permission. You will now see a list of all pre-approved add-ons. When you are finished looking at the list, click Close. Notes:Some add-ons are digitally signed, meaning that there is a specially encoded tag in the file which can identify the publisher. If (Not verified) is displayed in the Publisher column, the add-on itself is not digitally signed. If Sun Microsystems is not signed, feel free to disable it.
