Hi,I have a brand new alienware laptop that came preinstalled with vista ultimate. The laptop started losing network connectivity very soon and after 2 OS reinstalls I think i can pinpoint the problem to the KB890830 Feb 07 update or MRT (removal tool garbage).What happens is that after the update is installed and computer rebooted some of the networking services and possibly others will not start and I get the "the dependency service or group failed to start" error. Trying to manually start them doesn't work because of " access denied" error. I am logged in as net admin.Does anybody have any idea how to fix this WITHOUT OS reinstall?Thanx

We have the same problem in my compagny, we have 900 laptop with vista, and some of them lost network but we don't know what to do, sometimes with the dos command : netsh winsock reset the computer restart to work normaly but it doesn't work all the time...... Hope M$ will help us
