vista and xp networking issues
Hi all,this is my first post so please be gentle, i have a desktop running XP PRO and a laptop running vista home basic i have succesfully installed a wireless router and have no problem going in the internet on either machine, the problem starts when i try to access the the xp machine to access files, i have set up file sharing on both machines and could see the laptop on the desktop and the other way around.I have been able to "ping" both machines from each other and when i try to to the files or open the shared folder i get an error code 0.80070035 along with unable to find network pathbut still shows the details of the other pc's on the network .All workgroup settings are the same and password requirements are at the moment are disabled.please help i need this network up and running as soon as possibleregards homer d
