vista 802.1x logon problems
Hello everyone, AFter soms startup problems with the my NPS server i nog works fine with windows 7 but not with windows Vista SP2. If i try to logon with the vista client it takes a long time before it gets assigned a vlan, while in windows 7 this only takes seconds, the clients show the desktop and gives an error that the roaming profile can't be loaded and the network connection has an APIPA adres. after 30 to 60 seconds it gets an good IP adres of the DHCP server. The problem is that the logon procedure doesn't work correctly and the logon gets screwed up. On the windows 7 test machine it works with out any problem. on the vista test machine i tried the things mentioned here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/2008.02.cableguy.aspx if you need any information please let me know and i will provide them. greating Meaglin.
