viewmgr has encountered a problem and needs to close tried to run the instalation disk it will not run. Tried runing scan disk did not work. can not seam to even do fdisk in dos mode. conot format from c drive tried all this in safe mode.1 person needs an answerI do too

Hello jesatk If all you are trying to do is to get rid of the “viewmgr” error you can stop it running at every bootup. It is only to check for updates Start/Run and type in msconfig OK Startup Tab Keep the page open then go to the link below. It will tell you what all the entries are and whether you can disable them or not. It will also identify any malware. Disable everything which is not needed to run at start up http://www.sysinfo.org/startuplist.php Read the Key at top of page. Use the Search box to check all your entries When you reboot you will get a message saying you have started in "Selective Startup" Click "Don`t show this message again" then OK .

I tried this, but there is nothing there regarding "ViewMgr".
