video/audio streaming failure - Windows 7 64 Bit
Windows Ultimate 64 bit desktop problem: Streaming media (video, audio) hangs in all browsers and media center, 3rd party streaming players. Buffering completely stops after 1 or 2 minutes. On this same computer, Linux is installed. No such problem in Linux, which eliminates hardware, ISP, etc. Similar problem but not as bad on laptop with Windows Pro 32 bit. No such problem on networked Vista desktop. Latest Adobe Flash on all systems. Any suggestions?theWeissGuy

Hi, According to your description, I suggest to perform these tests to troubleshoot the issue: 1 Login with Clean Boot 2 Remove third party Codec, also perform a whole scan to check if any virus or spywares in your PC 3 Temporally turn off firewall 4 Update network driver to the latest version Hope that helps. Same here.. Windows 7 64bit, all was fine until a recent update (come to think of it) as I listened to Winamp Shoutcast all the time w/out problems. But about a week or so ago things changed and now while listening to the same Shoutcast station, or .977 Online radio, it stops after a minute or so. Just allowed everything in PCTools firewall and the music is fine, but enable it and the music stops. Hmmmm... I'm not big on Comodo, so will have to see what I will need to get. This is not affecting my netbook w/ Win 7 32 bit or my Vista 32bit desktop either and they both have Pctools firewall on them as well.
