I have upgraded my system to windows 8.1 and when i downloaded vlc media player it showed me a error message-explorer.exe-error

Please find any suggestion to this.

Some required information are needed for us to help you. It might be helpful if you could provide us error details from your Event Viewer administrative logs

To open Administrative Events

Press the Win key + "R" and type eventvwr>enter

Expand Custom Views

Click Administrative Events

We wonder if this error occurs when you run VLC player or attempting to install it. If it does please check this issue with VLC.

Run a DISM command to repair corrupted system.

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

Since VLC player is not hosted by Microsoft, please ensure you downloaded compatible package with Windows 8.1 from VLC official website.
