Hello what email service are you using? Are you trying to use the same email account on both computers, but every time you do a send & receive the email goes to one computer and not both? If this is the problem then I believe that the Send & receive is taking the email of the mail server, this way when your other machine tries send & receive there is no mail to receive. The solution to this is to set the software to only take a copy of the server. For windows live 2011 you will need to navigate to the advanced mail server settings. Instructions for outlook express: 1.On the Outlook Express Tools menu, click Accounts.2.Click the Mail tab, and then double-click your e-mail account.3.Click the Advanced tab.4.Check the box labeled "Leave a copy of messages on server." Doing this activates two clean-up options:Optional, check the box to "Remove from server after 5 days." You may change this to any number between 1 and 100Optional, check the box to "Remove from server when deleted from ‘Deleted Items.'"

Yer both machines, windows live mail 2011 is new and is best suited for Hotmail accounts. You might be better of trying Thunderbird( http://www.mozillamessaging.com/en-GB/thunderbird/) as it has more advanced features and add ons.
