using Lync Attendnat console

I'm pretty new to Lync environment.   I have a receptionist who answer calls and transfer calls using Lync attendant console. She will be on vacation starting next week. I have a temp employee who will do the same thing. The issue is when the temp person logs in with her account, she can't transfer call using Lync attendant console. Any suggestion on this? We have Cisco VoIP system.

Thanks.

Can she transfer using the normal client?   Is she using an identical voice policy as the receptionist?  When you say her account, do you mean the temp employee is logging in as the receptionist? Or the temp employee is logging in as the temp employee?

temp employee is using her own AD account to log in.  She can transfer manually like look up a person's number, dial, and hit transfer.  That works.  However, that takes a lot more efforts than using Lync Attendant console.  For existing receptionist, she transfer calls by looking up Lync user's phone number, highlight, and enter.  I'm really sorry if I don't make much sense.  Like I said, Lync is fairly new thing to me.  I'm guessing maybe the temp employee doesn't have proper wright to use Lync attendant console?  Thanks for your reply.

The attendant console is a client like any other, if she can transfer with the normal client, she should be able to transfer with the attendant console.  Are you sure it's not a training issue?  Can the receptionist try doing the same thing logged in as the temp user?  What error do you see? I would triple check to see if they have the same voice policies set though to be sure.

Thanks for your reply again.  Sorry for my ignorance, where I set voice policies for using attendant console?

In the Lync Control Panel would be easiest: https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj688155%28v=ocs.15%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396

Just check to see what policy is applied to the receptionist and confirm that's the same policy the temp receptionist also has.

I found it.  It looks like we are using a default Global policy for everyone.  We don't have any other policies.  It looks like I have to do little more research on this.  I thought it would be easy to set up since this is common situation for many companies where your main receptionist takes a break and someone else takes calls while she is out.  I must have missed something here.  Thanks for your reply.
