user can't login with pc reboot
I have 1 specific user who is unable to login to 2 machines of a morning without rebooting them. first thing of a morning he goes to login, and it doesn't allow him too. this has happened with 2 windows 7 machines (both have been re-imaged) if he powers off the machine and then back on, he is then able to login. his active directory account and profile have all been recreated has anyone heard of this before?

Is sleep/Hibernate involved? Can we get a bit more info. Anything in event viewer? Is it specific to his account or the two machines? MS-MVP 2010, 2011, 2012 Sysnative.com Team ZigZag

When the issue occurred, please check what the exact error message is. Regarding the issue, please refer to the following methods: You receive "The User Profile Service failed the logon error message http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947215 Fix a corrupted user profile http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/fix-a-corrupted-user-profile Hope this helps. nothing in the event logs that point out much it happens to him on 2 separate machines, but it only happens to him here is details of conversation between myself and user So when you try to login of a morning what is error message you get? I get password or username is incorrect Have you logged off from yesterday, or just locked the machine? I simply log off each afternoon. How many times do you try to login? Ive tried a couple of times in the past with the same message. Do you then just power the machine off and back on? I turn the machine off completely at the powerpoint, then it allows me to log on with no probs.
