usb doesn't work after sleep

here is the complete scenario

-I updated my drivers from Drivermax program (driver list showed a lot, usb input device, gmtech, high precission event timer, artista wddm, something something enchantment driver, something something technical driver, 1E10 1E12 driver)

-everything runs better, not a single problem. no errors or anything.

-but when computer sleeps and wakes up, USB 2.0 stops working. no problem experienced until computer sleeps.

note: USB 3.0 slots working correct even after sleep. so I basically change my mouse adapter to USB 3.0 from 2.0 , but this error bugs me a lot. any help or any small idea appreciated.

things I have tried

-I have all latest updates installed

-unchecked the boxes of "allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" from device manager/power management section

-disabled both USB selective suspend and PCI-Express/Link State Power Management from power plan settings

Updating the drivers is a good start, have you tried completely uninstalling the drivers and reinstalling the latest ones? Often times a full uninstall and reinstall can get rid of any lingering issues from older drivers. If you haven't already I would suggest updating your motherboard chipset drivers as well.

I would, but I'm not sure which driver to uninstall :/ should I uninstall everything I listed above? because this problem just started after updating them

The first thing I would start with would be to uninstall all USB drivers and then go download the latest drivers and install those fresh, rather than an update. If that doesn't fix your issue I would update motherboard drivers. You can find them by getting the model of your mobo and search for the drivers for that model.

I solved the problem! :)))

solution

go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Class\{36fc9e60-c465-11cf-8056-444553540000}

add dword ForceHCResetOnResume  and set to 1 for every subkey

and uninstall all usb related devices from device manager. restart computer and they will got reinstalled.

enjoy! :)
