I cannot get any of my windows updates to load. The computer will tell me the attempts have failed. I have tried many very frustrating attempts on my own-to no avail. Help!

Is there any error message when run windows update?

If you get error when install several updates once time, please try Sengupta's suggestion first.
Then manually download update file in Microsoft Download Center basis on KB number, then install it for testing.

If you get same error message, please help collect CBS.log(location: %windir%\logs\cbs\cbs.log) for further analysis.
