copy the file "C:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CBS.log" to your document folder (otherwise you can't open it) and open it with notepad. Now search for errors. Which errors do you see? Hi beverly, Please first go to Start -> Control Panel -> Troubleshooting -> Fix problems with Windows Update to see if the update issue can be resolved. If the issue still exists, you can refer to the suggestions in this article to check the issue: Troubleshoot problems with installing updates If the issue still exists, please provide the error code occurred when updating Windows. You can check it by going to Start, type update, click Windows Update, click View update history on the left pane. After that, double click the failed updates and then check the error code listed.
