riycou - For what it's worth, we probably don't need your system's specs. But we DO need the exact error message you're getting when the update fails. Please check the Event Viewer for the specifics... Thanks

This update was a test only a Test Update designed to test the integrity of the Windows Update component.
If the update failed on your system, then the error details have already been returned to Microsoft. You do not need to do anything further.
Open Windows Update andlocate this update. Right click the update and select the 'Hide this update' option. Exit Windows Update.Hope this helps.Thank You for testing Windows 7

well it was when i restarted the computer when it was appliying the update so there was no error# if there was i would have noted it.(im not trying to be sarcastic i promise)thx for the help tho
