uninstalling windows 7
Need to uninstall Windows 7. Was running Vista Home Premium before. The hard drive shows that Vista is still there along with videos, pics, and everything else that I had on it. Can I revert to Vista?

Den - Sure... Back up your data, insert the Vista DVD, reboot from the DVD and install it. There is no means to "revert" to Vista otherwise.

There is no unistall for Windows 7. It is not clear exactly what your situation is. Did you install Win7 on a separate partition, or did you do an 'upgrade install' over your Vista? If you did a clean install of Win7 on a separate partition then all you need to do is format that drive and reset your boot menu with a boot edit program to eliminate the Win7 reference. If you installed as an 'upgrade' and the "Vista along with videos, pics, and everything else" that you see is in the 'Windows.Old' folder of the drive then you will have to completely reinstall Vista. If this is the case then be sure to save/backup your important data first before formatting the drive.

It's a shot in the dark but you may be able to salvage it depending where it is on the hard drive. Itcould be in the "windows.old" folder created when you installed 7. For the fun of it you could move those folders and files to the root of that partition configure the boot store and see what happens next.Mr. Seven was here 2009.
