Hi,I would like to confirm the following questions first:1. Is this Windows 7 machine in a domain or a workgroup? Is it connected via wireless or wired cabled to a router?2. Does other machine connect to Internet normally via DHCP service? At this stage, it's highly recommended to upgrade the router firmware and reload its settings. If the issue persists, you can also temporarily turn off firewall on the machine and router (if it has). Thanks,Novak

Hi Novak, 1. Win 7 is in workgroup and I'm wired to router 2. Other machine are connected via DHCP with out a problem. I don't think it's problem with router. I have tried to connect in diffrent places with the same result. When I config. manualy the IP4 it conect to network so I see divices and computers but I don't have internet connection. I can open websites with ip adress but not with domain.

Is there another Windows 7 machine in the network? Can it work fine? Please also perform the followign steps for a test. 1. Modify relevant registry key via the following article: Windows Vista cannot obtain an IP address from certain routers or from certain non-Microsoft DHCP servers 2. Refresh a new IP address a. Click the Start Button, type "cmd" (without quotation marks), in the search result list, right click on Cmd.exe and select Run as administrator. Note: If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password, or click Continue. b. In the popup window, type the following commands and press Enter one by one: ipconfig /release ipconfig /renew Then, the new IP address will be obtained. 3. Upgrade the latest NIC driver for Windows 7 Thanks, Novak

Please restart the computer in Safe Mode with Networking and set to get IP address automatically. If the issue persists, please restart the machine to Normal Mode and collect the following information for research. Collect the Netmon trace ========================= a. Download NetMon3.3 from the following website and install it on the computer http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=983b941d-06cb-4658-b7f6-3088333d062f b. Launch NetMon3.3. c. In the Microsoft Network Monitor 3.3 window, click Create a new capture tab d. In the new tab, select all the Network Adapters in the Select Networks window. e. Temporarily disable the "Local Area Connection" in network connections and move on the next step. f. Then, switch to Network Monitor, press F5 to start NetMon. g. Enable the "Local Area Connection" in network connections. When it failed to get IP address, please go to step 7. h. Go back to the NetMon window and press F7 to stop the NetMon. i. Press Ctrl+S to save the Netmon file named test. Then please upload to SkyDrive (www.skydrive.live.com ) and share the link to me. Thanks, Novak
