unidentified network/public network
I just finished building a new PC and my network comes up as unidentified network - public network. It does not allow for change since it appears grayed out. I tried to disable and renable but same result. I have two other computer on
the same network and they are working just fine. My harware is an Asus P7P55D-E LX motherboard, Intel I5 processor. The NIC is on-board 10/100/1000 using a realtek driver. Everything else works with windows 7 pro.

Hi,
Please follow Jerry’s suggestion to update NIC card and use network troubleshooter to check the issue.
Furthermore, you can also temporary disable firewall, antivirus program and router(If it has), disable IPv6. Also try to logon with Safe Mode with networking for
test.
Hope that helps.
