unidentified network
at work i have to connections to my windows 7 laptop, wifi to access the internet and wired connection to the office LAN 'with my private routing table', I noticed that after a while both connection changed to unidentified network and lost the connection. when enter to Network and share center found the two connection "LAN and WiFi" changed to one connection titled with unidentified network.

If you have more than one network adapter, then if active they must be connected to different subnets. If single subnet is your case, use only one connection. It is the task of network awarness process that helps Windows operating system to connect properly. For access to Internet, there is test procedure, that enables to detect functional access to definite web page and DNS response. Regards Milos
