Hi, Before going any further, I would like to verify what error message appears when you delete the Bing icon? Did you install Bing Toolbar on your PC? Please capture a screenshot of this icon for me: How to capture a screenshot ========================= 1) Press the Print Screen key (PrtScn) on your keyboard. 2) Click the "Start" menu, type "mspaint" in the Search Bar and Press Enter. 3) In the Paint program, click the "Edit" menu, click "Paste", click the "File" menu, and click "Save". 4) The "Save As" dialogue box will appear. Type a file name in the "File name:" box, for example: "screenshot". 5) Make sure "JPEG (*.JPG;*.JPEG;*.JPE;*.JFIF)" is selected in the "Save as type" box, click “Desktop” on the left pane and then click "Save". 6) Then Upload to SkyDrive. Also you can login with Safe Mode and delete it again to see if the same error occurs. If the issue still persists, there is a possibility that your computer was attacked by Virus. I suggest scanning system using the anti-virus software in Safe Mode for test. Hope it helps. leo, I'll look into skydrive and provide you access to the file. I have not used the product before and don't believe I have a use for it - instructions are not clear regarding sharing a file without an e-mail address. trend micro virus scan would not start in safemode. Thanks for your assistance.
