My Dell notebook hung with the following event in the system event log:-The System Restore filter encountered the unexpected error '0xC000009A' while processing the file 'syncables.devices.dat' on the volume 'HarddiskVolume2'.There was a similar message for HarddiskVolume 4As I use this notebook remotely it is very inconvenient to have a hung system. Even though the remote access software showed the machine as online I could not log into the machine. Thanks for any help.1 person needs an answerI do too
