unable to upload any larger files
Before i had Vista Ultimate x64 that suddenly started having problems uploading pictures to my photosite or sending email with pictures. Tried to do All the tricks i could imagine to solve the problem but nothing helped. Also i cant pass the upload part of many speed test sites in the net. I was thinking maybe it is some sort of virus my antivirus program just cant find and decided to make a clean istallation of windows 7 to solve the problem. Installed windows 7 but still cant upload pictures. I have tried sending them firewall and antivirus program (Avast home) closed, but doesnt help. I have used IE, Firefox and Opera latest versions but no go. I have reinstalled Java and removed temporary internet files an cookies and cleaned browsing history and i have checked my internet properties two million times without finding solution. I have used an other computer to check if the problem is in my connection an it is not. I have installed new ethernet card which was no help of course and im really starting to loose my nerves too.

I once had this same problem while using XP. It took me forever to find the problem until i had to reset my Router to manufacturers default settings. Once that was done, i had no problems sending anything no matter how big. You could try that and see if that is a problem.wolfie

When i connect an other computer to my cable everything runs smoothly so it cant be a router problem. I guess. And tear some more hair.

I have the same problem. My initial problem occured when I reinstalled Office and tried to download my large inbox from a POP server. Turning off all Outlook add-ins through the registry helped and allowed for complete download of email. But now I am seeing the same problem while trying a 10MB transfer across my wired network. The Network Icon on the start bar will show an exclimation point and then I will lose total network access. I have to reboot to reaccess the network. If I run Windows in safe mode, I still get knocked off of the network, but can reset my lan card through the control panel and regain access to the network.
