Explain how you are trying to update the adobe flash player. You saying ANY flash player doesn't make sense. You also say uninstalled programs (meaning more than one). What exactly did you uninstall and what is it you can't install? There's only one source for updating/installing flash player (and shockwave player) and that's www.adobe.com Apple has their own player, so do several others for video's, music etc etc.So please be specific as we're not mind readers :) but we'll do our best to guess.MCSE, MCSA, MCDST [If this post helps to resolve your issue, please click the "Mark as Answer" or "Helpful" button at the top of this message. Hi,Which flash player(s) are involved here? Did you encounter any error message when reinstalling them?If it is the Adobe Flash Player, download the uninstaller to uninstall it completely and install the Flash_Player_10 ActiveX.For more information, refer to http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/191/tn_19166.html.In case any other applicaitons that cause conflict, I suggest boot into clean boot to troubleshoot:Clean Boot =============This method will disable loading program or service from start up to avoid conflict 1. Click "Start",and type "msconfig" (without the quotation marks) in the open box to start the System Configuration Utility. 2. Click the "Services" tab, check the "Hide All Microsoft Services" box and click "Disable All" (if it is not gray). 3. Click the "Startup" tab, click "Disable All" and click "OK". 4. Click "OK" to restart your computer to Selective Startup environment. 5. When the "System Configuration Utility" window appears, please check the "Don't show this message or launch the System Configuration Utility when Windows starts" box and click OK.6. Check whether or not the issue still appears in this environment.
