unable to connect to the internet... either wireless or wired.
i used to get pefect internet using wireless linksys but now i cant connect. ive bought a router and it internet connects on my ps3 and on my desktop but not my laptop.under the "choose a wireless network" menu it shows the router i use for my other computer and also shows other open connections but it doesnt connect to any of them. when i try to connent to my router it trys to connect but then skips over it and then trys to connect to linksys. where it then says "limited or no connectivity.i tryed pluging the ethernet cable i use on my desktop to my laptop and my laptop still doesnt want to connect even though its plugged to the wire. so i dont think its just te wireless. ugh.1 person got this answerI do too

HiIf there is a wire capability and it does not work, forget for the time being about Wireless since there is little chance that it will work.Deal first with the wired connection, http://www.ezlan.net/debug.htmlWhen the wire connection works, use it to connect to the Router's menu (read the Router's manual) and check the Wireless setting.Disable the Wireless security in the Router, and see if you can connect with No security.Once you can connect with No security enable the security. In general. My Wireless does not work - http://www.ezlan.net/wireless.htmlWireless Basic Configuration - http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Config.htmlWireless Security - http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Security.html Jack-MVP Windows Networking.
