HiAs a rule, it does not matter how many NICs you have, and how many gateways are available.Whether you have one connection to the Internet or two independent Modems and two connections.A computer running client OS (none server versions of Windows) can work only through one Internet connection at the time. Two NICs can be configured as two Independent Network (like 192.168.1.1 & 192.168.10.1) one NIC can go to the Internet and the other can be connected to another local Network for File transfer and similar shadings.
