bought this Gateway about five days ago. It keep telling me to set up a back up acct. well yesterdeay I changed my owner/adminstrstorlog on and pasword. it accepted my pasword but is nopw asking for the adminstrator, and won;t accept tyhe one I just used

Hi, First I want to know whether you use a Gateway Computer? If so, you could change the password via another account with administrator permission. In case this is the only administrator account on your machine. The only method to fix this problem is clean installation. If you using a third party gateway, I suggest that you contact the manufacture to get some information about how to recover the password or reset the router.
