troubleshooting using rdp client windows 8.1 and Office Outlook windows search

Hi 

We have a problem with 3 pc's : Surface 3 windows 8.1, Lenovo YOga  windows 8.1, HP Spectre windows 8.1. 

We have servers 2008 with active directory, exchange  and RDP services up.  

When using Outlook (Office 2010) and the windows search we have a error message and the windows search in Outlook doesn't work anymore.

Whit another pc's it works.

The only thing that are the same for the 3 pc's it's that they are tactile.

Hi,

Have you installed the latest ServicePacks for Windows and Office? I know that has helped in some cases.

Also you might test with an account - enable the cached mode and disable it.

Check that your indexing folders are correct, you can also rebuild the index.

to rebuild the Windows search index, search for index options

Check Windows Features - is Windows Search and indexing enabled? If so - disable and enable again with a reboot between.

Worst case - test with an new account .
