In order to work with a domain member computer in this way you must log onto the Local Administrator. You don't have the password for the Local Administrator and that's why you can't log on. Your girlfriend's user account is only available when connected to the domain. You could connect to the domain using her account in Safe Mode With Networking, but since it is unlikely that your girlfriend's domain account has anything but user privileges, you would not be able to install the necessary malware removal tools anyway. Your girlfriend should consult with the School's IT Dept. first instead of you trying to fix this. The School may simply reimage the computer. If they don't provide imaging, they may require her to do a clean install and then take it to them to be rejoined to the domain.MS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!

it wont let me log in on either safe mode. the admin password was disabled so i set it as admin but theres no option 2 let me log in on that. it just says that the domain is not available. i do believe she has access to download and install programs since it is her computer

While a correctly set up domain member workstation does not give users administrative privileges, on the off chance your your girlfriend's user account does have administrative powers you could try logging into her account (on the domain) from Safe Mode With Networking and see if that works. I don't mean to hurt your feelings but it is apparent from what you've done that she really should take the machine to the School's IT Dept. or to a reputable local professional. Don't use a BigComputerStore/GeekSquad type of place. http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_MalwareMS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
