trouble printing emails from Outlook Express
Using XP, I print emails from email website, ATT/Yahoo Mail, but not emails after I download them to Outlook Express.Get a pop-up asking if I want to continue running scripts, when I go to Print. Answering Yes or No doesn't matter.Control + P does not work.Pop-Up also refers to res://ieframe.dll/preview.js , which when I "Search", do not have anywhere on my hard drive.Someone suggested I "Run" regsvr32ole32.dll, but I don't have that either. Are these downloadable?

Try all four suggestions here.1: Go to Start | Run and type, (or copy/paste):regsvr32 ole32.dllPress Enter. 2: Your print margins may be set too small. In IE: File | Page Setup. (Default setting is 0.75 all around). 3: In OE go to: Tools | Options | Security and set OE to the Restricted Zone. That should remove active scripting and do away with the error messages. 4: In IE: Tools | Internet Options | Advanced | Browsing Section. Uncheck both boxes that refer to Script Debugging. If none of the above help, please post any error message in its entirety. You can left click on it to highlight and then right click to copy and then paste it into this thread.Bruce Hagen ~ MS-MVP [Mail]

As for the tips, many thanks. I was only able to implement #3, which I set the security to restricted zone , but that did not do the trick.Number 1 was mentioned in my original question - I do not have that dll on my drive anywhere - regsvr32ole32.dll - I did a search. Therefore, it can't Run.Suggestion Number 2 and number 4, I can't do because I use Firefox instead of IE 7 or 8.I did not want to have to go back to IE, but perhaps I will have to reinstall it to get the missing print command back into OE.By the way, the error message does not respond to right or left clicks to copy and paste, because it is interactive with a YES or NO box that has to be clicked.Of course, doing that only makes it go away, until I try to print again, at which time it reappears. A Catch 22.

Did you try to re-register regsvr32 ole32.dll in the Run Command?OE uses the IE print engine, so that may be the issue. You don't have to install it as it is already on your machine and a part of XP.Just to test so we know where we stand, enable IE in the Control Panel | Add/Remove Programs | Add/Remove Windows Components. Does it work now? You don't need to use IE, but you may need to keep it enabled. You can also try in a new identity. If that doesn't help, it pretty much eliminates OE and confirms an IE issue.File | Identity | Add New Identity. Create a new one and test it. If all is well, you can import your messages and Address Book from the old identity and delete it.Note: Do not use the word Main in the name of the new identity. How to Create and Use Identities in Outlook Expresshttp://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=209169Bruce Hagen ~ MS-MVP [Mail]

You are doing #1 wrong. Go to Start | Run and then type regsvr32 ole32.dll Make sure there is a space between the two, or as Bruce previously indicated copy and paste the line above into the Run box. steve "JWMath" wrote in message news:42826d31-b76b-4b87-854f-0716191f8f43...As for the tips, many thanks.
