If it is not an invasion of your privacy, what kind of file(s) are you trying to copy?I don't suppose you can determine or reveal the file name(s) that seem to be associated with the problem or should we just try to guess what they are (there are a lot of files).Does the message really say:can not copy (filename):...or something else. Don't guess what the problem might be - figure it out and fix it. I need YOUR votes and points for helpful replies and Propose as Answers. I am saving up for a pony!

What SIZE is the file that is giving you a problem? Most USB flash drives come preformatted FAT32 -- which can't handle files larger than 4 GB, no matter the capacity of the flash drive. If you want to store files larger than 4GB, you'll have to format the flash drive to use NTFS ... but don't forget to copy the files already on the flash drive before you do.

its showing "cannot copy 'the name of the file that i am trying to copy':access is denied". this problem occurs everytime i try to copy any type of data of any size from my pc to usb drive. also when i am formatting the pen drive its showing "windows was unable to format the drive". and the same pen drive is working fine on another pc with the same operating system.
