touchpad problems
We recently purchased a new Toshiba lap top for our daughter.  The touchpad worked fine when we started the set up but as soon as we installed the included mouse, it stopped working.  Regardless of changes we made in "settings", it still does not work.  Any help would be appreciated.

Try FN+F9 keys to enable touchpad

If not working, let do more detail TS

  1. Is there any changes? software, hardware or setting
  2. Touchpad completely not working or just lag?
  3. What troubleshooting step that you already done?

Found this trick at Toshiba Forum website

  • Turn computer off. 
  • Remove all attachments and the battery.
  • Press power button for 15 seconds. 
  • Replace power connection and battery. 
  • Start Computer and press F2 at the Toshiba splash screen to get into Setup.
  • Press F9 to reset defaults.
  • Press F10 to save changes and exit and answer yes to complete. 
  • Computer will restart.

If not working, please reinstall the driver. You can find at your laptop manufactured site, if you want us to help, please give us your laptop details
