thumbnail memory leak
I don't know much about codecs and how they work, but I know that this is due to Explorer.exe attempting to get a thumbnail to a MKV file. The RAM spikes up to as much as I have (8GB) and the processor goes nuts. This doesn't effect every MKV file, in this case it's only two. This only happens when Explorer is set to show thumbnails, and doesn't occur when the folder is set to list view. http://i.imgur.com/tdSC0.png Steps to reproduce: 1. Open the folder that contains the MKV. 2. Watch as the ram spikes high. (from http://shark007.net/forum/Thread-Memory-Leak-on-MKV-thumbnail, problem confirmed)

This issue should be caused by incompatible Codec. I suggest you delete installed third party Codec packs and media players, then check the result. Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
