It makes no sense to run a 64-bit OS on a system with only 1GB of RAM installed: -the base memory consumption of a 64-bit OS is ~50-70% larger than it's 32-bit counterpart. - you can't take advantage of the larger addressing range offered by 64-bit Windows, unless you have more than 3GB RAMinstalled. as Willy said, u'll need more ram for ur 64bit, i'm running 32bit and windows is using around 700mb of ram (just windows and AVG), u definitely need more ram2/ u have to go to the manufacturer site and look for the right driver for your touchpad, u might find it there.3/ maybe you are not using the right password, if your desktop and laptop are both on win7, u should have no problem accessing both, it is too easy now with win7. Maybe you should create a new homegroup and try again.

1. If it is running OK, don't worry about it, Windows 7 will runin even less RAM. If it still bothers you, add more RAM, it is cheap. 2. ? 3. Have you addedthe other computerusername and passwordto the laptop? right click my computer/manage/local user/users/action/newuser....etc. Youwont be able to accessthe laptop using your laptops user and password, you have to use another one that has been added to the laptop. Unless of course you are using a laptop that usually connects to a domain, if that is the case you won't be able to access anything on the laptop from a workgroup computer.
