this computer does not have a wireless network adapter installed and configured

i have a toshiba satellite L305d and i got what you see in the title after trying hitting "diagnose why windows can't find any networks" my other computer uses the same wifi and it doesn't work :(
please help!!! i have a 2 wire with the A T & T logo at the top, i what the name is...
IM USING WINDOWS VISTA
32 bit operating system!!! BTW
