I am running windows 7 and am unable to do defragmentation. When I try it says the task scheduler is unable to connect to the remote computer or else says it is not running. I have looked at both the task scheduler and the event manager and event logs and get the same response. I ham using a laptop right now, I dont have this problem on my desktop. Any ideas please?
