whenever i switch from notebook PC mode to tablet PC mode and back i get this cursor issue. the issue is that when i return to notebook mode from tablet mode the tablet PC cursor theme stays or the cursor just disapears all together. is there a way to fix this issue so that the main aero cursor theme will return for when i switch back to notebook mode? or is there a way to keep the aero curso theme while i'm in tablet PC mode all together? i tried to look for a fix myself, but i cannot find it. please help.

I am sorry that you have this issue. I also have a Tablet PC (Acer TM C210), but I do not experience the issue. Still I will put it to the test and try to recreate the issue. Not much help, but it may be useful to know that it does not seem to be a general issue, so perhaps it is possible to fix. I will report back!

thanks for the response. what kind of touchscreen do you have? a digitizer? multitouch? IRDA? or other?the IRDA thing is a joke because those types are not used anymore...loland FYI my tablet has a digitizer touchscreen.

well in theory, there should be on option to sort of fix the option as a temporary work around, but i cannot find it. there was an option in vista. the option stops the cursor themes from changing from when you go to notebook mode to tablet and back... and in Windows 7 the option seems to be missing. there has to be a replacement.

Tested to my best effort and could not reproduce the issue on my machine. Sorry!
