our laptop crashed. system restore not available. can't check security settings. no internet. reverted to old windows look. i started using f10 and am doing a comprehensive hard disk scan right now. when i attempted to install mcafee updates got warning that it might make system unstable. how do I get to system restore? problem may have something to do with newly installed netgear wireless card. Something seriously wrong. how do I correct? I have moderate pc skills....1 person needs an answerI do too
