I am using win 7 professional on a new hard drive. I have done a system image. Now it will not open or restore the system image it keeps saying it failed and shuts down I can see the system image in my computer but can not open it to the new drive.

Are you using the Windows install media to perform your recovery? Can you be more specific on what error message is displaying? This will help in troubleshooting. MCSE: 6771498

Do you mean the image was saved when you were using an old hard drive, but you want to restore it into the new hard drive?
