1. Try to get iinto F8 boot menu and start in safe mode.

2. Do the same as in 1, but try the Last Known Good....

3. If nothing helps try to boot from Live CD (Linux) and export minidump file for analysis. Do minidump analysisi in another computer (WinDBG)

4. If 1,2 and 3 do not help, address your problem to HP support/forum

5. If neither (1,2,3,4) helps, backup data (using 3) and restore from backup, or restore DVD or make clean install. Prior this check you HDD and RAM.

Hi,

Please remove all external devices to boot again.

Have you had any recovery disk or iso of Windows 8 or Windows 8.1?

If so, try following steps to create recovery drive:

Create a USB recovery drive

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-8/create-usb-recovery-drive

or

Create Media to Run Push-Button Reset Features

http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh824894.aspx

Then, try to boot PC in WinRE, and enter command prompt to run following commands:

bootrec /fixmbr

bootrec /fixboot

bootrec /scanos

bootrec /rebuildbcd

Detailed steps, please refer to this link:
