stop unbidden opening of windows dialog boxes
Hi,
According to your description, it seems this is caused by 3rd party software. I suggest you to boot the computer to Clean Boot Mode to eliminate the causes of 3rd party software.
Also, To make us understand the issue you encountered better, you may also upload the screenshot to Skydrive and post the link here if the issue persists.

Toolbar menu comes up and captuees focus by itself. Mouse clicks on stuff I have not selected. Unable to type or work without constant interuption by these unbidden activities. Started yesterday.
