Some time in the past several weeks I have lost several startup programs from my startup menu and can not find them anywhere. The original programsare still listed in "add-remove programs" but there is no "repair" baloon to click. The one I am most concerned about is "Microsoft Digital Image Starter Edition 2006" as I have several thousand photos and videos stored there. Going to the programs list in "applications" does not help. Anyone have a suggestion on how to repair this?I would be eternally grateful. Thanks Nelson

Before we go further, I would like to confirm if the startup menu referred in your post is the subfolder Startup under %homepath%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs. If so, please perform the following steps to find out the application "Microsoft Digital Image Starter Edition 2006": 1. Click Start, and click Search. 2. In the Search window, click the Advanced Search button to show advanced search filters. 3. Change the Location to Local Hard Drives, type pod.exe in the Name box, check the Include non-indexed, hidden, and system files (might be slow) check box, and click Search. 4. Wait until the search completes, and then you should see the pod.exe application. Double-click the application to launch Microsoft Digital Image Starter Edition 2006. To add a shortcut of the application to Startup menu, please perform the following steps: 1. Right-click pod.exe, select Send to, and select Desktop (create shortcut). 2. After that, copy the shortcut on desktop, click Start, type %homepath%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\ Programs\Startup in the Start Search box, press Enter, and paste the shortcut in the Startup folder. 3.
