You should start by making sure your computer is completely virus/malware-free.http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_MalwareThere is no way we can accurately assess your computer's security with so little information. I do not say this to hurt your feelings in any way, but based on your post you aren't going to be able to accurately assess your computer's security either. This is not a simple topic which can be grasped immediately without a lot of knowledge and skill. Someone who really knows what s/he is doing needs to look at the machine. If you really think your computer has been compromised, take it to a reputable local professional (not a BigComputerStore/GeekSquad type of place). If you want to pursue this further here, then please post back with the results of the malware scans and some information about your computer, its environment (if others have access to it, home/work computer) what version of XP you have, what security/antivirus software is installed, if this is a single standalone machine or part of a Local Area Network, and how you connect to the Internet.http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Tech_Support - See "How to Write a Post" sectionhttp://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/555375 - How to Ask a QuestionMS-MVP - Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
