Hi,§ Since when are you facing this issue?§ Do you remember making any changes to the system? I would suggest you to update the chipset drivers as well as the graphics card drivers from the manufacturer’s website and check whether the issue is resolved. Method 1:I would suggest you to check whether the settings to wake up the system are set properly or not. Follow the steps mentioned below.a. Right-click My Computer and then click Properties.b. On the Hardware tab, click Device Manager.c. In Device Manager, double-click keyboard.d. Right-click on the driver, and then click Properties.e. On the Power Management tab, click to select the ‘Allow this device to bring the computer out of standby’ check box.f. You can do the above steps for the ‘mouse’ also. I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned in the article given below. How to troubleshoot hibernation and standby issues in Windows XPhttp://support.microsoft.com/kb/907477 Thank you and Regards.
