win xp home slow and hard to load. bought it @ a thrift store and took it to an ip who said it was ok . 1 person needs an answerI do too

Hi there without knowing details,for the time being i can only suggest to please check How Many Progams Are Loading,when you turn your pc on?You see, only what is necessary for the running of the OS,your securiyy applications and other programs you definetely want to auto load,should be autoloading.So please go to your desktop clickStart>Run,Type msconfig click ok. On the window that opens,click on the Start up tab,you may well have programs autoloading,that you do not need,or want. f that's the case,and you understand what is what,then simply Uncheck the chek mark next to that entry.OR you can come back and tell us,what programs are listed there and we could help you decide.And you may well have what we call 'Bloatware' ie Unneeded programs installed,that you will need to uninstal.,then Clean your Disk and Defragment your Hard drive,all of which will help in getting your pc to hopefully load faster.So do come back,and we'll see what we can do.
