Please can someone help me i have just purchased a new acer timeline laptop and a new western digital mybook external drive, I have a netgear DGN2000 router and the laptop is running windows 7 64 bit, both the router and external drive are windows 7 compatible but i am getting very slow transfer speeds from the external drive to the laptop, the router is showing that the external drive is a 10Mbps device. how do i speed this up as it is unusable as it is.
