sign in prob. with games for windows-live in dirt 2
using win xp, playing dirt 2 and attempting to log into games for windows-live. my connection is working for browsing web etc. grid works multiplayer just fine. i went through and installed the gamers for windows_live program/client, i logged on, created a new account then restarted pc. i tried both running the game, hitting the 'home' key, which would direct me to signin online almost right out the gate, then when i would hit the 'signin' box it would just sit there telling me to "please wait" while the twirling 'loading' graphical would just spin and spin. and on the signin screen it shows '0' profiles found. why can't it find my profile (recognize)? ive also tried going first to games for windows-live first and then starting the dirt 2 game to no avail. ? thanks is there any patches or updates for dirt 2?oh, and i was able to download 'tinker' and am now playing it online!also in my games for windows-live network information page while playing 'tinker', it says: that i'am not signed in for the internet ip address field and the system link address field says 'not active' and it also says that i'am not signed in on the upnp field either. does any of that explain? THANKS AGAIN FOR ANY TIME SPENT HELPING ME WITH THIS3 people need an answerI do too
