Sometimes when I shutdown the system a strange message is displayed that some programme is running wtheras i close all the windows before shutdown. The message is displayed not even for a second so its not properly readable. All i get that it shows one option of forcefully shutdown and other I can't read. The problem is not regular. It come 6 out of 10 times.

Record the prompt so you can post what services/programs it's waiting to close while it handles the shutdown command. Try booting into Safe Mode & shutting it down several times to determine if it's 3rd party or not.

If it works fine in Clean Boot, the root cause can be the third party software. If the issue reoccurs in Clean Boot, but works fine in Safe Mode, the cause can be the disabled hardware drivers. You may narrow down the causes in Device Clean Boot. Device Clean Boot ================= 1. Click Start, type "devmgmt.msc" (without quotation marks) in the Search bar and press Enter. 2. Expand "Sound, video and game controllers". 3. Right click on your sound card and then click "Properties. 4. In the dropdown menu of Device Usage, please choose "Do not use this device (disable)" and click OK. 5. Please use the same method to disable other dubious hardware such as: internal modem, network card and CD-R drive. Please note some devices such as video adapter are not available to be disabled. If the issue persists, please go to Event Viewer to check logon and logoff event, see if any error is relevant. · Event Log ======================== 1. If you have not otherwise found solution from others here, you should be able to at least see the message by using the Pause/Break key on non Mac keyboards that I have used to interrupt PC in boot up and shut down, allowing a view of displayed message(s) that would otherwise be impossible. Pressing Pause/Break again unlocks the Pause.
