sharing icon
Hi,I shared one folder and it work,in network everyone can see it but,in local computer there is no icon that users can found that folder is share I mean that picture comes in bottem of the folder.help please it diver one big network crazy.

thanks for your reply but I didnt get it, sorry i m not really good at English.the wholel thing was... i mean is this feature removed in windows 7?If it is, is there any way for users to see in an old version of sharing overlay?thank you again

Hi, The workaround is, right click on the shared folder and select Properties. Then, click on Customize tab and click on Change Icon button. Then, in the Look for icon in this file box, type C:\windows\system32\filemgmt.dll and hit Enter. You get four icons. In this, select second icon and click on OK and again click on OK to close Properties window. Regards,Arthur Li - MSFT
